It’s that time again!!! Bout of Books 18 is coming up & it’s time to sign up. This is one of my very favorite readathons of ALL time. It’s low-stress and low pressure, which is good since it’s during my first week back from break at school. Never heard of Bout of Books?!?! Here’s the major info:
The Bout of Books read-a-thon is organized by Amanda Shofner and Kelly @ Reading the Paranormal. It is a week long read-a-thon that begins 12:01am Monday, January 2nd and runs through Sunday, January 8th in whatever time zone you are in. Bout of Books is low-pressure. There are challenges, giveaways, and a grand prize, but all of these are completely optional. For all Bout of Books 18 information and updates, be sure to visit the Bout of Books blog. – From the Bout of Books team
Not only are the challenges fun, there are really fun Twitter chats to go along with the reading. I always find at least a million new books to read & make some new friends! I hope you’ll consider joining! Stay tuned for my update post (when the readathon starts), and my goals!
Will you be joining me?? Let me know in the comments!
A low-pressure read-a-thon? This sounds great! I have been feeling crushed under the weight of all my books lately so this would be a lovely change of pace. I’m looking forward to scrapping my current TBR short-stack at the beginning of 2017 (a lot of my yearly challenges didn’t pan out well for me…. O_o)– this would be a great way to start!
I’ll let you know if I join up, but I’ll definitely be stalking your progress! 🙂

Right?! I overdid it this year. I’m hoping 2017 will be more calm. That said… I am definitely signing up for the read-a-thon. I can’t wait!
