Sunday Post: August 20, 2017

The Sunday Post is a weekly event hosted by Kimberly @ Caffeinated Book Reviewer. It’s a way to wrap up your week, share news/book hauls, and consolidate links to your posts & other posts you’ve liked throughout the week. This week, I’m super looking forward to Bout of Books, a day off tomorrow, and the total solar eclipse!! Also, likely going to a fair this weekend, and that’s always cause for excitement!

Weekly Reading Updates

Books Finished This Week

Fourth World

School is definitely back in session, and it’s majorly impacted the amount of time/energy I’ve had for reading. Bout of Books could honestly not come at a better time. Fourth World was super good & I will be writing a review at some point. I’m also now eagerly awaiting the sequel…and I already bought the companion novella for my Kindle.

Reading Challenges

  • Diversity Bingo 2017

    • Main character on the ACE spectrum: Fourth World by Lyssa Chiavari (MCs are asexual and demisexual–and it’s Own Voices!)
      • It also counted for The Reading Quest First Book in a Series Quest on the Knight Path–34 HP and 20 XP (current totals: 45 HP & 30 XP)

Currently Actively Reading

I’m waiting until Bout of Books starts tomorrow to start anything new, but I’m planning on starting Underground Railraod by Colson Whitehead as my first book of the readathon!
